The New Nokia Lumia 920 Complete Review: Thick, Heavy, Hot and Poor Battery Life?

By on December 29, 2012

The new Nokia Lumia 920 which runs on the Microsoft Windows 8 Operating System and has created lots of buzz since it was launched is slowly turning out not to be the very amazing smartphone it was claimed to be.

Several reviews and feedbacks have been coming from its users that exposes the flaws of the smartphones.

According to the review posted by Jean-Baptiste Su on Forbes.com, where he was quoted saying :

On the hardware side, the Lumia 920 is simply dreadful. Despite the heavy weight and thickness, the phone’s short battery life is a mystery to me.

It was revealed that the smartphone has a very short battery life that barely survives through the mid-afternoon and dies quick especially if the GPS is used. The phone is also slow at taking pictures despite its PureView integrated camera as the pictures end up a bit blur and is simply unusable under low light.

Comparing the Nokia Lumia 920 with the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 would you agree that the Nokia Lumia is a bit behind when it comes to rating smartphones especially since it has no chance to make a deep impact in the highly competitive smartphone market already dominated by Samsung and Apple.
