Liverpool’s Striker Luis Suarez Given 10-Game Ban By FA.

Following the incident that happened during Sunday’s 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Chelsea FC, Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been banned for 10 games by the Football Association.

The ban covers their final four games of this season and the first six games of 2013-14 – which could mean Suarez not playing again until late September or even October.

Although the the incident was not seen by the match officials and has therefore been retrospectively reviewed, the 26-year-old striker has apologized, and fined by Liverpool for such violent act.

Both the club and the player believe the 10 game ban is too much and shouldn’t be more than 3. They have until midday on Friday 26 April to appeal [against] the additional suspension, above the standard three matches.
