Ebonyi State University Student Commits Suicide.

Mr Michael Onwe a 400 level Medical Laboratory student of Ebonyi State University was found hanging dead in his room at No 6 Ibe street Abakaliki. It was revealed that Mr Michael Onwe had spent over 6 years in the university as a medical student but was later offered a course medical laboratory by the same university after failing twice in his MB Examinations.

Late Onwe is a native of Umuogodoshe in Mgbo town, Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State.

Police Public Relations Officer ASP John Eluu who confirmed he incident said his body has been deposited at the Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki for an autopsy.

The officer also said all evidence at the moment points to suicide as cause of death but the Police are yet to ascertain why Onwe took his own life as he did not leave any note behind.
