Dortmund Secures Final Berth Despite Real Madrid 2-0 Defeat.

Despite the 2-0 defeat by Real MadridBorussia Dortmund held on to book their place in the UEFA Champions League final as the Bundesliga side progressed 4-3 on aggregate.

In an interview after the match, Christiano Ronaldo said:

We have proven to be better than them but the score in the first leg was key. The fans have been awesome

Ronaldo, who had been largely subdued by his own high standards, worked a yard of space for himself on the edge of the Dortmund box with 20 minutes to go only to toe-poke his shot over Weidenfeller‘s bar.

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp was in party mood and he promised he will not stop his suad from toasting to success.
