Barca Buried, Torch Passes On To Bayern Munich.

Following Bayern Munich 4-0 victory against Barcelona FC  in the semi-final of the on-going champions leagueBayern Munich have successfully cemented their status as the growing power in European football.

This will be  Barca’s worst defeat in Europe since they were beaten by the same scoreline by Dynamo Kiev in 1997, in addition no team has lost the first leg of a European Cup tie by four or more goals and progressed to the next round.

Although the best player in the world, Lionel Messi was on the pitch, sports analyst believe it was lunacy on the side barcelona to attempt to have Messi play the full 90 minutes at the Allianz Arena in Munich after he had managed just two workouts after damaging his right hamstring three weeks ago.

Thomas Müller scored the first goal during the match, Mario Gomez gave Bayern a second goal just after half-time while former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben tormented a desperately vulnerable Barcelona defence, adding a third before Mueller got his second near the end by then Barcelona seemed to be praying for the end, just wanting to get out of Bavaria and hopefully turn things around at its Camp Nou stadium next week. But a four-goal deficit will be almost impossible to erase, making it highly likely now that Bayern will face the Real Madrid-Borussia Dortmund winner in the final at Wembley on May 25.

However, even if Messi is fully fit and on fire next Wednesday when Barca will take on Bayern at its camp nou stadium a 4-0 victory is most unlikely as it seems Bayern is the strongest force now. What do you think?

Will Barca ever recover from this agony, what if they are unable to defeat Bayern in the return leg? Share your thoughts and opinion in the comment section below lets read what you have to say…
